ALLWEILER pumps with long operating lives for biogas technology

The ALLWEILER AG factory in Bottrop specialises in manufacturing progressing cavity and peristaltic pumps for almost all pumped fluids. The pumps can handle fluids which are chemically aggressive or mechanically abrasive, and even long fibres will not interrupt continuous conveyance of the media.

ALLWEILER pumps always guarantee long maintenance intervals with minimum production downtimes and low overall costs (Total Cost of Ownership).

One example of how the pumps are applied is shown by Marchfelder Bio-Energie GmbH, a company which generates biogas from organic waste. Thanks to stators manufactured from special materials, models which can be retensioned and specially coated rotors, even pumps working under extreme pressure can have exceptionally long operating lives.

Martin Hajszan: “ALLWEILER pumps are unusually durable. The elastomers have been in continuous use for over a year without noticeable wear.” This durability can be attributed to optimal design and the in-house manufacture of stators. ALLWEILER AG uses more than 20 different materials for manufacturing stators.
