Biogas blowers and biogas compressors
For over 30 years, the MAPRO Group has been producing side channel blowers and rotary compressors for use with biogas, natural gas, landfill gas and, of course, air.
Side channel blowers are available for a range of volumetric flow rates of up to 2,000 m3/h and overpressures of up to 500 mbar. MAPRO blowers provide solutions wherever gas pressure is insuf ficient. Applications include: increasing gas pressure for CHP plants, increasing pressure in pipework and gas supply for gas burners. MAPRO air blowers are also used in gas processing.
Rotary compressors are available for volumetric flow rates of up to 3,000 m3/h and up to an overpressure of 3 bar. They typically find application mixing biomass in fermenters or sewage sludge in anaerobic digesters (gas injection). All biogas blowers and biogas compressors comply with EU Directive 94/9 (ATEX). The blower and compressor interiors fall under ATEX category 2G, indicating that the devices are not potential ignition sources.
