Swiss firm MEIDINGER has been building fans for over 100 years. Headquartered close to Basel, the company specialises in devices for increasing the pressure of industrial gases, including biogas and other combustible gases. Its core expertise lies in producing fans compliant with the ATEX Directive. In addition to fans for ATEX zones 1 and 2, Meidinger manufactures fans certi fied for use in Ex Zone 0 (continuously present explosive atmosphere), and is proud to have received this rare certification.
Over the past ten years, biogas fans have become increasingly important. Thanks to the high device reliability, easy integration and customised solutions offered by Meidinger, the company today has numerous customers within and outside Europe.
The past few years have also seen an expansion in the company’s after sales service for biogas fans, enabled as a result of collaboration with its sister company Witt&Sohn AG from Pinneberg, Germany, and other service partners across Europe. The high availability and reliability of the devices are, and remain, the primary objectives.
