Safe reliable and economical flow control and automation

Bröer Group

Wherever the flow of solids, fluids or gases in pipelines has to be controlled, shut off or automated, EBRO and Stafsjö valves are in use. Our strong customer relationships and their resulting related rapid adjustment to customer requirements form the foundation for our innovative valve solutions, whilst maintaining the highest product quality and flexibility. The German based Bröer Group is one of the world’s leading suppliers of valve technology with production facilities in Sweden, Germany, Italy, Thailand and China, together with 25 sales companies as well as reputable trading partners in a further 35 countries.

Biogas

EBRO and Stafsjö products are used within the complete process chain of biogas plants.

In particular slurry, silage and other substrates with highly variable dry mass content, require careful attention to provide successful and reliable flow control. Engineered elastomer seated EBRO valves with DVGW accreditation are installed in all raw and processed biogas piping installations. In Combined Heating and Power (CHP) plants, when temperatures (>180 °C) and pressures (>16 bar) get higher, EBRO double-eccentric, metal-seated, high performance valves are the most suitable type. Our standardised product range also includes valves that allow for the special design requirements of the thicker wall found in Polyethylene (PE) and Polypropylene piping. Where leakage to atmosphere is not an option, our certified shaft seal is usually specified for operating temperatures of max. +450 °C, in accordance with the stringent requirements of TA-Luft (as well as VDI2440).

With biogas production processes becoming increasingly automated, ASi-Bus Technology offers a tailored solution to power, control and diagnose equipment used in the sanitation process economically. Ethernet, Devicenet and Profibus are ideal for integration into supervisory process control systems.
