Drawing on over 30 years’ experience in the field of processing compressed air and compressed gases, PARKER HIROSS ZANDER offers extensive expertise in the process-integrated purification and drying of biogases for the growing European biogas market.

When converting biogas and landfill gas into electricity, constant gas quality is paramount in enabling engines and micro-gas turbines to operate economically and efficiently. Contamination, in the form of solid particulate contained in the gas-stream must be separated out and the remaining moisture content reduced. Furthermore the presence of siloxanes in the gas can also pose problems. The GES processing system for siloxane removal provides reliable protection against engine damage and operational failure.

Systems for the treatment of biomethane, prior to gas-grid injection must conform to special operational and legal requirements. When treating raw-gas to meet biomethane standards, the dryness, in terms of the gas dew point is decisive. PARKER HIROSS ZANDER has developed a fully-automatic heat-regenerative adsorption dryer, complete with inlet & outlet filtration to meet these demands.
